Claude Tag: Paging Google, are you there?

Today, with Claude Tag, Anthropic continues its record-breaking sprint of releasing great products and interfaces that make its models more usable than everyone else’s. I don’t know whose models are best. But I do know that no matter how good your model is doesn’t matter if I can’t easily use it. And I do know that Anthropic makes its models the easiest to use with the products and interfaces it builds on top of them.

I’ve been researching on and off for a while now how to add Claude as a user to my Google Workspace account, so Claude can participate in chats and emails like any other employee. I have so many use cases for that interface.

Is it possible? Probably. But only if I hack something together with some combination of Google Cloud, Zapier, n8n, OpenClaw, and who knows what else. And even if I take the time to figure it out, I’m skeptical it would be a smooth experience with so many layers to make it work and based on my experience building with the Google ecosystem.

The tech world was so excited after the recent Google I/O. I even watched the entire keynote. And so much looks promising. But why aren’t things like this ready to go?

That’s a rhetorical question, but if you know the answer, please let me know.
